FAQ – Brasco Industrial Filtration

Industrial Filtration Q&A

What does Brasco Filtration specialise in?
How many filtration systems has Brasco installed?
What kind of filtration technology does Brasco use?
Does Brasco manufacture locally?

Brasco combines local manufacturing with global partnerships to deliver world-class air pollution control solutions. It also has a strategic partnership with Turbo Srl of Italy, supplying Italian-engineered pulse valves, controllers, tanks, diaphragms, and solenoids that Brasco stocks and supports locally.
What industries does Brasco serve?
Does Brasco only sell equipment, or also maintain it?

Both. Brasco is dedicated to providing clients with maintenance and restoration services for filtration systems, and it also designs, produces, and installs new filtration and extraction systems. It offers maintenance plans with weekly or monthly inspections that monitor differential pressures, bearing temperatures, motor temperatures, and fan flow, with readings kept for up to 52 weeks.
What other services does Brasco Group offer besides industrial filtration?

Beyond filtration, Brasco Group covers commercial and industrial kitchen extraction (design, installation, cleaning, and fire suppression), window and solar panel cleaning, electrical services, and Coolcare refrigeration and HVAC (CO₂-based systems). It also runs a Training Centre, described as Africa’s first dedicated hub for industrial skills development.
How experienced is Brasco's team?
What does Brasco's typical dust-control project involve?

Projects often include custom-engineered filter units paired with high-powered fans, ducting, and access platforms. For example, one cement factory project used a twenty-four-cartridge reverse pulse filter unit paired with a direct-driven 15 kW fan set, plus dual rotary valve discharge points, galvanized ducting, and custom access platforms with cat ladders for cartridge maintenance.
